About Dr. Cousins
Jody Cousins, MD, is a board-certified physician committed to offering quality, compassionate health care to patients of all ages. She is a primary care provider at Bethesda Immediate Care, located in Bethesda, Maryland, where she specializes in family medicine, obstetrics, women’s health, and lactation management.
Dr. Cousins began her formal education at the Wyoming WWAMI Medical Education-University of Washing in Laramie, Wyoming, where she received a bachelor’s degree in science and psychology in 1999. She completed her doctorate of medicine from the University of Washington in Seattle, in 2006. Dr. Cousins completed a residency at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati in 2007, and a family medicine residency at the University of Wyoming in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in 2010.
Throughout her training and private practice, Dr. Cousins gained extensive experience in family medicine, pediatric care, obstetric care, lactation management, mental health, and women’s health.
Dr. Cousins is a military spouse who has passion, extensive knowledge, and valuable experience for providing holistic, compassionate care to women and children of all ages.
